Why One Percent Realty
A more efficient way to sell real estate.
One Percent Realty is built around a simple idea: use modern technology and an efficient business model to provide full-service real estate representation while reducing the listing fees paid by sellers.
Full service
Pricing advice, professional marketing, MLS® exposure, showings, negotiations and transaction management.
Competitive fees
The model is designed to reduce the listing-side cost of selling without turning the service into a do-it-yourself experience.
Keep more equity
Lower selling costs can mean more of the proceeds from your home remain available for your next move.
The One Percent Realty advantage
See what you could keep.
Selling costs can make a meaningful difference in how much equity stays with you. Move the slider to compare the One Percent Realty model with a sample traditional commission structure.
7% on the first $100,000 plus 3% on the remaining balance.
$5,000 listing fee at $500,000 and under, and 1% above $500,000, plus an assumed 1% cooperating commission to the buyer’s representative.
Savings are illustrative only. The comparison uses a sample commission of 7% on the first $100,000 and 3% on the remaining balance. The One Percent Realty example assumes a 1% cooperating commission to the buyer’s representative. There is no standard industry commission. Commissions are negotiable, cooperating commission options can be discussed with your agent, and GST may apply.

Before you decide to list
How do I know what my home is worth?
Start with a market evaluation that looks at comparable sales, competing listings, the condition of your property and current buyer activity. From there, you can discuss a pricing strategy rather than relying on an online estimate alone.
Will my home appear on MLS® and REALTOR.ca?
Yes. Full-service representation includes MLS® exposure and distribution to REALTOR.ca, along with broader online real estate marketing.
Does a competitive fee mean reduced service?
The selling service includes pricing guidance, marketing, listing exposure, showing coordination, negotiations and transaction management. The fee structure will be explained before you sign a listing agreement.
How much will it cost me to sell?
Your exact selling costs depend on your property, listing agreement and the compensation arrangements you choose. Before listing, the fees and estimated proceeds can be reviewed so you understand the numbers.
Should I buy my next home before selling?
There is no single answer for every seller. Your financing, available equity, market conditions, possession flexibility and tolerance for carrying two properties all matter. It is better to map out both transactions before committing to either one.
Do I have to accept an offer if I list my home?
No. Offers are presented to you and you decide whether to accept, reject or negotiate based on the price, conditions, possession date and other terms.
